I agree, but personally I think they have handled it somewhat poor so far. Not the clearest on their descriptions.

Yea their fees are TERRIBLE when you look into it. I pay 25 cents to list, you pay 25 cents to ship it if you buy it on top of the $3 shipping. Plus, If I want to have something back to me that I sent in I need to pay another 25 cents on it.... Seriously...


I basically sold out and just shopping when I find good deals. Once I blow my credit Ill probably stop using the site also.

You'll still see the discounts and I would recommend staying in reselling mode and pay the quarter out the door in case you change your mind on an item.

It will probably be items for flipping. I highly doubt I'll be able to find 20+ Browns PC items to ship. Maybe I'll find enough to pick up some baseball inserts to get me to the 20 items mark. I saved up a dozen items hoping for shipping discounts but they only apply to items bought over the weekend.

This is what might bother me. I have a 100+ ready to ship that I waited until this weekend to ship out. If I buy 50+ items this weekend why cant they send them all together for "free" I hope they do.

Picked up some Browns PC items and grabbed some baseball to get me to the 20 item mark. Went to ship them and I forgot that I already had the stuff I was holding marked for ship so they were already in there and I got the discounted shipping on them too.

Not really. most things that sell are 5 dollars or less but you should have some success if priced right. I know I buy a lot of chrome autos

Agreed. COMC is the best. I'm fine with the slightly higher fees (%10 if you take the cash option.) to not deal with the headaches.

It's 20% and additional if it's a "small cash out" = under $250. Must be a lot of high rollers on there I don't know about if $250 is SMALL! :-)

I was referring to it being 10% higher than eBay. (eBay 10% and COMC 20%)
I can usually do around $250 in credit in a month, my port is mostly baseball so March-June tend to be my best times. I prob wouldn't cash out less than that. I did way better last Black Friday, but there is definitely money to be made there. I prefer to buy a couple high end cards with my credit to try and flip on eBay, but will take the cashout if I need some quick cash.

I just don't have time for the eBay hassle when it comes to $1-5 cards. I'd much rather dump them on COMC and bite the bullet for the extra 10% (and not have to worry about packing/shipping/labels/envelopes/DSRs/Returns/Complaints/Theifs)

Kind of annoying when people continue to complain about things on COMC. They aren't hiding any fees - they don't try and sneak anything by you - it's all there in plain English.

I sell a few hundred dollars worth of stuff in a month on the site - no way do I have time to mess with it on my own. The time they save me in dealing with customers, packing, shipping, listing, etc. It is all worth it to me. If it's not worth it to you - feel free to head on over to eBay and sell there - enjoy the return policy.

Yes I live in Bogor, Indonesia. That's the reason all of items that i bought from ebay i sent to comc using their mailbox service.

I don't limit myself to any one thing anymore. I used to focus almost exclusively on serial numbered cards. Lately, I have expanded that focus to anything that I would not want to try and sell on eBay. That usually includes any inserts/serial numbered cards/autos/relics/Short Prints that I don't think has better than a 50% chance to sell for 2.99 + shipping on eBay. I also have frequently listed stuff that has not gone for the 2.99 that I have routinely sold for much more on COMC. Either way, I usually send about 500-600 cards every 3 weeks or so, and make sure to keep my options open when it comes to offers.

I also have amazon sales open, and will entertain all offers if the card has either been sitting there for a while, or if I'm no longer lowest on the site if someone re-priced more recently than I have.

It does thanks a lot! I have had my first shipment up for about a week. I sent a mix of cards in, not knowing what would sell. I though serial numbered was the best so I over did it with those but inserts are proving to be doing well for me. Thanks for the advice.

The promos are running all weekend. It looks like more keep getting added - this morning I remember seeing 775 promos running and now there are 989 running. Wouldn't hurt to keep checking back in. Also know some people are upping their promos or discounting their cards as they go. Keep checking back in!
