If you are doing this by team, it would be helpful to see a checklist (sorted by team)

if it's done by teams, who gets the mystery cut of the dead celebrity?

that card would be a random thing,,,everyones name goes on random.org and the top name get that hit! unless someone has a better idea.

Maybe I'll be the bad guy this time but you have to iron out a lot of info before anyone is paying 50 bucks for a team slot. I can tell you're psyched to do a break so please, consider this constructive.

The checklist is all over the place making a team setup really tough.

What are the 30 teams?
What system will you use for the dual or multi memorabilia cards. Some breaks say the first guy listed.
If Brooklyn is a team and I randomly get it, there's only a couple of tough hits on the checklist
What team do Billy the Kid and Mikhail Gorbachev, etc. get put in?
Does Boston mean the Red Sox and the Boston Braves? Does NY get the Yankees and the NY Giants? etc...

Sincerely,
Vinny

i would love the help on this one, it looks like a GREAT product to do. there is 64 hits which i could do by the hit, but what about the 192 low numbered base cards that fall 1 per pack? help, LOL the main thing is the 192 numbered base.

Vintage Collector

make them one slot or 2 slots, this way the base slot is not bad on this case.

03-09-2008, 10:24 PM
Make all of the base cards another slot.

I think one slot for 192 base might be a bit much maybe two is better, unless I were to hit it then I want them all lol

Also, if there are more than 64 hits in the case, give the extra hits to the base slot. That thing could wind up being the best slot!

I like his idea of any extra hits being given to the base slot, I think it would help people get over the risk they are taking

what about 16 base slots 1 slot gets all the numbered cards for that box? if we do that it would be 20.00 a slot. now should i offer a refunnd of some kind for the base slots? plus what about the Inserts and Parallel cards about 2 per case? thanks for the help guys!

I like the refund idea and I even got a refund on one of the breaks. But I think it is funny. Group breaks are very gambling-like. If I went to Las Vegas and played Blackjack would they give me a refund if I had an 11 and doubled-down and got a 2? Or what if I played 33 on the roullette wheel and it landed in the spot next to 33. Would I get a refund? It is just a chance you take.

i think thats right, the base slot will get 12 numbered base cards. plus its 20.00 a slot, i think this is a great price for what you could get out of this product! i looked at the check list and my jaw fell to the floor! LOL

ca someone check out the product info for me, and tell me what they think the total number of hit per box is.

newengland4me

Every box will contain 6 Yankee Stadium Legacy cards that 96 per case you might want to make them 3 slots @ 32 cards per slot....or ?? they are bring some money on ebay by themselves.

just a thought :)!

so there is 96 hits and 16 numbered base hits? and that makes 112 hits? at 2 slots per person thats $30.00 per 2 slots. sound good?

newengland4me
03-10-2008, 09:07 AM
no no no I was just talking about THAT Every box will contain 6 Yankee Stadium Legacy cards that 96 per case ......
Has nothing to due with total slots.....I do not want to confuse you :)!
Yes 16 numbered base hits per case ....
but Four memorabilia cards per box, on average<<<<<
But total hits per case I do not know ..I was just letting you know about the
Legacy cards ...
Sorry for the confusion

so the 6 per box could be a slot also. i belive there are 80 hits per case. so
80+16+16=112 total slots for $30.00 a slot. and the extra hits (if any) will go to the ones with base hits picked by random.org.

Vintage Collector
03-10-2008, 09:34 AM
What if we made all the non hit cards in the box one hit, including parallels, base, yankee stadium legacy cards, and the extra hit if there is one.

Everyone would not mind getting the base slot in this break.

Vintage Collector

64 hits + 16 non hit "base" slots = 80 slots. what do you think deboe?

deboesports
03-10-2008, 09:40 AM
so if there are 4 hits per box, there would be 5 slots? so we would be back to 80 slots.
for $20.00 a slot.

OK, I am confused!

I would recommend working out all of the numbers and then starting a new thread with all of the rules completely spelled out.

ok i will start a new thread. and this is the way it looks...64 hits and 16 base slots. 80 slots for $20.00.

Deboe...buddy, you're not going to gain anyone's confidence here with this thread. Step back, take a deep breath, and like Tony mentioned, work out the numbers and start a new thread. This thread needs to be forgotten about.

I'm sure you'll get participation if you work "most" of the kinks out ahead of time. :)!

No worries. I just think you will be more successful with getting slot buyers if you completely start over with a new thread.
