What's the best way to sell old Beckett magazines and old Sports Illustrated magazines?

I recently picked up a collection from my uncle who wants me to sell them for him. He pretty much every SI between about 1978 and 1995. He also has Beckett baseball magazines from throughout the years.

The Beckett magazines were stored in plastic magazine sleeves and appear almost untouched. The SI magazines looked to be in really good shape as well with some notable names on the covers.

Just looking for ideas. There are 3 tubs of them in all. Should I just try to sell them all in 1 lot on Craigslist? Should I take the time to try and piece them out on ebay/on here? Should I just tell him they're not worth the time and effort to get 50 cents per magazine and give them back to him?

In my estimation....

You could piece them out, sell some for $3-5, and be left with hundreds of leftover magazines. Or, you could sell them as a lot, and probably make the exact same amount and be left with nothing. So, for your efforts of piecing them out, you would have leftover magazines.

I've never sold magazines so I'm not sure what the best way is. But you could also think about sending them all to COMC: Publications Cards matching: Sports Illustrated - COMC (http://www.comc.com/Cards/Publications,=Sports+Illustrated,sd,i12)
