In a recent thread I posted how to block eBay users..>I know there are many threads out there telling people who to block...I'll try to keep this first post updated so people can easily do this. Figure it's for the the good of the community. If we can eliminate some of the bad apples maybe eBay could be a better experience. I will keep it in the comma separated format so it is easily copied and pasted.

I, on rare occasions, will pre-emptively block people that I don't get along with and that I feel are the type of person who would buy something just to screw up my feedback. Now I don't know that he is that type of person, but I've seen him say some despicable things to numerous people, so I assume he's capable of acting the same way.

Calling someone a "moron" would be one of the nicer things he's said. When I saw a thread on FCB where he started saying horrible things about another members wife based only on her name, I was done.

I hadn't seen any of the wife stuff. He is one of the guys that convinced me to join Blowout. I never had any issue with him on any of our deals, but I knew he could be pretty hostile at times with some of his posts.

Most are for not-paying but some are bottom feeders or others I blocked for one reason or another. Some I could not tell you excatly why.

Offering 5.00 on a 100.00 card. Wanting me to take time to deliver an item less than 3.00 because 2.00 shipping is too much. Again most are simple non-payers though. I have had over 1200 in the past 18 months on Ebay.

It is a combination of the following:

1) Non-paying bidders
2) BO recommended blocks (threads of bad buyers)
3) Rude and nasty people
4) Horrible lowballers (may 2 or 3 total)

I have been selling on ebay since 1999 so yes, my list is somewhat large.

I really don't know about any one specific person (except Miggy) as to why they are blocked, but I don't block people for the hell of it. Each one earned it or again, was recommended by this message board.

The big issue I have them is I could take my best customers and put them on a public list so my competition would run and block them just because they appear on a list. Also just because someone is a bad buyer in one sellers opinion does not make it true. Could be the seller who is the problem..
