What do you guys think? If not who would be a good coach for us?

I can remember who said it....I think it was Cowherd. His record isnt a reflection of how good of a coach he is. That team goes out and plays their butts off every week for him....they just arent that good. He doesnt deserve it (and this is coming from a Packers fan)

I think he's a fine coach. It's no his fault the team only has 1 good player. He keeps his team in every game, and if fans are upset because he didnt make the playoffs this year, then they don't realize how much of a fluke last year was.

Yes only one good player, and the bengals are a great team, getting blown out by them is not shocking.

If they fire Frazier then I want Spielman gone as well. As far as replacements well I will leave that to the Vikes

lol at one good player. Bears must not have any good players if they cant beat the Eagles...who the Vikings beat.

it would be nice if they get a coach with head coaching experience.

I think he is a good coach and should be back. The Vikings lost a good number of close games right?

Well, the bears beat the bengals... How'd that go for the Vikings?... Or how about the giants?... Or packers?... Or browns?... Or cowboys? But you're right... Great point. And yes, I stand by my one good player comment.

MITM, queens have blown 5 last minute leads. the thing that i don't get is Frazier was a DB in his days, yet we have the worst secondary in the league.

That's fine, but you are clearly wrong.

Hester is the greatest of all time, but it's been years since he was best in the league. I'm not mad period, just stating fact.

That they have one good player, a few above average ones,
A couple average ones, and a ton of subpar players

No, most teams have a few good players, a few above averge, a bunch of average, and a bunch of subpar.

I think Frazier needs to go.....he reminds me of Wade Philips, great coordinator....not a great head coach. Hate being an armchair coach but Cpatt needed to be involved from day 1 and Cole should have been playing from day 1 as well. As for Spielman I don't know why people would want to have him canned. He has been a draft genius IMO

Spielman has failed to get us a QB. just like he did with the dolphins.

Oh God, stink and funk from Cowturd.

Frazier is not a bad coach, he's got a grossly imbalanced roster and no QB. At least they're not rolling over, that's when you know it's time to drop a coach, when players aren't listening and the team is lifeless.

Everytime he threw ponder out there he put nails in his own coffin....before freeman came along......him ESPECIALLY PONDER...and without question SPIELMAN should be gone if not Vikings will waste away APs career. They better draft a QB in first round and not Bridgewater!

Do you see who they're suiting up in that secondary ? I'm shocked you or I haven't gotten the call yet.

He deserves to at least come back for next year. The team is fighting hard, but just don't have the horses to compete.

Smith being injured didn't help nothing. I know he was getting old but they should have kept Winfield. The db we have had the last couple years I have noticed none of them seem to be getting better. Our best cb is a rookie.

The question that needs to be answered is who the hell decided to spend a 1st round pick on Christian Ponder....that guy should be fired. In all seriousness, I don't know that they have the players to make Frazier successful. Now they did make the playoff last year, so I see that as a positive, but AP was an absolute animal and Ponder didnt turn the ball over as much per td to int ration. This year it was the opposite, not that AP wasnt a beast, but just not as amazing as last year. I also couldn't comment on his clock management decisions, to me that is a huge aspect of being a head coach. I had to sit through 8 years of Gary Kubiak bone headed time outs and wasted challenges.

Wasn't Ponder, Fraziers guy? I think him and Speilman liked him.

Leslie Frazier should at least get the chance to ride out his contract. The schedule that they played was pretty difficult, haven't looked but imagine SOS would be at or near the top of the league. They do need to revamp the defensive strategy significantly, get healthy and decide on a QB (not named Ponder). They should have a large amount of money to be players in the FA market.

I've said it before, they are about a combined 1 minute from leading the NFC North and making it to the playoffs again.

Just like Dennis Allen for the Raiders, I think the job they have done with the weak rosters they both have (even more so the Raiders) that both of these guys should be loosing their jobs this year.

They need to get rid of MUSGRAVE and whoever is the D coordinator. Bring Frazier back for one more season. The decision to stick with Ponder was probably not his alone and signing Freeman was the popular and right choice at the time. Imagine the outcry if they hadn't signed Freeman. Put any coach with what the Vikings had this year and they'll be lucky to win more than 5 games.
