It seems like every time I turn on the TV, he's talking away making very good points on some critical topic.

Is it me, or did this guy come out of no where and within the past few weeks become on of the best football analysts on Sportscenter?

He makes more thoughtful points and stays away from those cliche hyberboles that all the other analysts on Sportscenter seem to favor too often.

Anyone agree? :)

I'm happy for Brunell! Always liked him!

He's doing this because he's desperate for the $

Most guys just want to be on TV

It beats getting paid $500 to hang out with that Jaderock guy.

I don't think I'd call ESPN a 'desperation' gig but I do remembering he lost everything in some investment deal...

He definately seems to have actual thoughts that contribute. I think Hasselback is pretty good as well. Maybe they should trim the fat on Sunday Countdown and throw him in there.

His finance woes are public knowledge.

Believe it was a burger chain investment that brought him down.

He filed bankruptcy in jacksonville that was resolved last year. Lost everything investing in the Whataburger chain here in Jax. Had to sell beautiful house on the ocean down here. He's now a head HS fball coach here at a good academic private Christian school so his kids can go there.

Well, good for him - I'll be rooting for him to do well!

You can't walk 20 feet in southern Texas without seeing a Whataburger. Apparently it's not for everywhere. They have good Burgers IMO.

You can only have your underwear sniffed so many times before it gets creepy.
