Hey everyone,
I'm sure this has probably came up before but was curious as to everyone's opinion. I bought this Tannehill on eBay and got if for a lot less than I thought I would have since it's a dirty patch. Which made me wonder, does a card with a game worn patch that shows dirt, grass stains, etc command more coin or is it not that big of a deal as I thought?

It should command at least a bit more, I know I'd pay more for a dirty one.
Absolutely. The filthier the better.

Fake dirty patch cards are about to start showing up everywhere if people vote yes. Vote no to keep fakes to a minimum!

I actually tend to avoid dirty patches since I do not trust that it wasnt some dude throwing it in the mud himself. Unless its the "down and dirty" series one of the big guns makes I would shy away from them but thats just personal preference.

If it is an old card then possibly but anything within the last 5 years no thanks. A dirty event worn jersey is still a joke. I am sure scammers like wisconsin_dani have already been adding a little dirt to their patches for years.

Dirty event worn jerseys. Did they forget to vacuum?
Game worn is a different story.

no. Think it is easy to fake a patch? How easy is it to rub some dirt on a card and sell it for more? Very. Now I would pay more for a hockey card with a board burn, or a repair.
