looks like it is configured almost exactly like 06, and 06 is currently under 40% of cost. oden auto in the base set will help a little, but again all the autos are rookies and most of them will sell for $1-3. considering 06 failed miserably you'd think they'd try something different content-wise.

Agreed, I looked at the pre-order info and not impressive. I bought 2 cases of 06 and lost a bunch of money, well I can say that about most of the 07 basketball cards. I am no longer going to buy basketball cards in the opening month, much better to wait 4-6 weeks.

Plus the upcoming draft is relatively weak so the draft redemptions won't even do much for the product.

weak??? thats a joke right? potentially: beasley, mayo, gordon, rose, love, bayless, greene, augustin. 08 will blow away the 07 draft class...

Yeah Hansbrough isn't going to do #@#@#@#@ in the NBA either he's going to get knocked around hes too short.

Hansborough is not even close to a top 3 pick. Most boards have him outside of top 20. And yes this is a very very good draft because of this years Freshman class. Like last years though it will take several years to have impact because the kids coming out are so young and lack experience. Beasley will be a BEAST.
