View Full Version : Your Perfect Super Bowl?

lagalaxyfan23

Now with only the 49ers, Seahawks, Patriots, and Broncos remaining in playoffs...what would be your PERFECT Super Bowl scenario you would like to see play out?

This would be mine:

Seattle defeats the 49ers, and Harbaugh (who spoke with Bob Knight before the game) takes things to a new level and throws a chair onto the field.

The Patriots defeat the Broncos and Julian Edelman goes off.

The Seahawks play the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Down by four, on the last play of the game at the 20, Brady throws a clutch game-winning TD pass over Richard Sherman...then Brady goes over to Sherman after the game and says, "You mad, bro?"

Then Pete Carroll starts yelling at the refs in anger arguing offensive pass interference and in the process drops the thing he always chews out of his mouth and the secret is finally exposed to the world of what it really is always chewing.

That would be incredible. What is yours? :flex:

I think the perfect Super Bowl would be (obviously impossible) San Fran & Seattle on neutral field but even as a 49er fan wanting them to go to the Super Bowl I will say Seattle vs New England would be the best two coaches who are cocky and wilson vs Brady, & Brady vs the hawks D.

It's not hatred, It's not believing the hype. Sherman is cocky for 3rd best corner in the NFL (if that high)

If you say so, I mean he only led the league in picks when he was thrown at the least amount of times in the NFL.

If you say so, I mean he's only led the league in picks 2 years running, made two straight all pros. Oh by the way his league high INT's came when he was thrown at the least amount of times in the NFL.

That's exactly it. He leads the league in picks, but rarely gets thrown to. He is no doubt the best cornerback in the league.

There's no doubting Sherman's talent, he's just terribly obnoxious. He's a villain, and that's all.

While he's lead in int's Tillman and Jennings just for example had good int numbers and better tackle numbers combined since last year. Sherman is good but he's not #1 IMO obviously people will disagree which is fine.

Broncos crush Pats by some outrageous score like 52-10. Brady cries.

Superbowl becomes crazy high scoring. Marshawn Lynch rushes for over 200 yards and 3 TDs while Manning throws 5 TDs against the stout Seattle passing D including the game-winner with time expiring.

Denver 42
Seattle 41

All but 1 of dangeruss's losses are on the road. And it seems like the games are always close when they are on the road, no matter the opponent. They just aren't the same team, I think even you know that.

Agreed. I'm not saying they aren't a stout looking team. They've been playing great, and doing what it takes to win games.....but I would fear them less than the 49ers. Just my opinion.

Manning gets his 2nd ring or Lynch wins the game with a beastly run (ala Saints games).

Now that I've said that, it will probably be Pats/9ers.

Dream Super Bowl?

- The Seahawks destroy the 49ers. Harbaugh loses his voice during the game and can only squeak like a little girl during the postgame presser.
- The Broncos blow out the Patriots and leave Brady so defeated that he is unable to get it up for Gisele until training camp.
- The Seahawks and Broncos played an incredibly hard-fought game with Manning leading the game-winning drive.

If not this, then I'd love to see Kaepernick get knocked out of the game, Colt McCoy come in and win it, then lead the 49ers to a Super Bowl win.

Then vanishes into the sunset while Brady's wife takes to twitter on an unrelated conspiracy rant.

Sea beats Sf with wilson "kaepernicking" after a touchdown run

Jim harbough breaks down and just starts crying and stomping his feet on the field with an added body throw kicking and screaming:special:

Denver beats pats

Manning get lit up by seattle defense and gets picked 6'd by sherman early in the game once denver uses moreno a huge hit by kam chancellor all but demoralizes a desperate broncos.

Seattle 27 broncos 17

Broncos win. That's all I care about.

Scenario 1 - Broncos get revenge for 55-10 Super Bowl loss to Niners.

Scenario 2 - Broncos get revenge for Seahawks playing the preseason game earlier this year like it was a playoff game. Including the injury Derek Wolfe had when he got hit with the crown of a helmet directly in his neck (right after being cut). Pete Carroll is bush league.

Treat Seattle like the red headed step children they are (booted from the AFC West and not good enough to be considered a rival).

It's a bad memory. I'd like to see the Niners embarrassed by the Broncos in a Super Bowl whether it be this year or 10 years down the line. Same goes for the Giants and Redskins (lesser extent the Cowboys for XII).

Let me get this thread straight:

My binky beats your binky and [insert butt hurt comments to rile up the fans of the team you hate to make yourself feel like a big man.]

So if I have the formula down,

The 49ers whomp on the Seahawks while Dick Sherman and company cry and the city of Seattle claims to have seventeen more "earthquakes" to prove how much their fans have cared since 2005.

The Pats make all the Colt fans cry for the second week in a row after punishing their hero who doesn't even play for them anymore 34-30.

In the Super Bowl it goes to overtime and Belichick and Harbaugh suit up and have a medieval dual to determine the winner. They end up knocking each other unconscious, Gisele runs on to the field, picks up the ball and runs to the wrong endzone where she is tackled for a safety and the 49ers win 2-0.

How did I do?

I respect talent and dick Sherman has talent but he and his secondary are great as a unit. It's not just him. Take away those safeties (who are the better players back there) and he is exposed like any corner with week safety help. He knows what's back there and he's able to take all the chances he needs.

I can't stand his game though, I love that he is intelligent and will give it to media scum and the commissioner if needed but when you trash talk and act like a jerk, people end up cheering when you end up laid out on the field.

When people do that, you know you may have crossed the line. I remember Deion fractured his orbital bone in 96 divisionals against Carolina and people were so happy we went down. Sherman will get hurt one day and people will cheer and deep down, it's not right but his antics earned that
