General overall opinion about 2013 cracked Ice condition issues

He guys. Last year the big thing was the peeling and many guys still have low Pops on them from the grading companies. I wanna see if this is what everyone is getting on these from the New 2013 contenders. I am seeing lots of corner issues on the front corners, is this what everyone else is seeing? I ask this because I am buying them on Ebay as Nrmt-Mint and the ones I have all have front corner issues. I am debating sending my Alonso back but maybe we can discuss. Thanks guys!

You could probably expand that to all of this years contenders, at least from what I've seen/heard there's lots of edge/corner chipping issues. Some even badly uncut. I personally wouldn't send in a low #'d card like that unless David confirmed to you that A) they had extras of that player and B) you would get one of that player.

No problems with cracked ice in Prizm, so I think it might be just a Contenders thing in general, as noted by trixstar.

The foil lifting is no where near as bad as last year from what I've seen. Not saying that the problem has completely gone away though, just not as prevalent.

Pack pulled some cracked ice, haven't seen peeling on them. It appears all of the cards of contenders are really condition sensitive though, I bet only a few out of 5 boxes are grade worthy. Edge and corner chipping again from the ones I looked at closely.
