That's not what it's saying at all. It's a giving you a track record depending on how the BB and K % in AA have translated into the majors. You can make your own conclusions onto whether or not that means success or not.

Basically for a guy like Joc Pederson who K'd 25.9% of the time as a 21 year old in AA last year that when he gets to the majors he as a 10% of K'ing 15-20% of his plate appearance, 20% of K'ing 20-25% of his plate appearances and a 40% chance of K'ing over 25% of his plate appearances. It also states that 30% with a K% over 25% as a 21 in AA wont ever have more than 500 plate appearances in the majors.

Correct, over 70% will at least have 500 PA's in the majors. That doesn't mean you can't be good or productive in the majors but it does make it tougher if you're part of the 40% who strikeout more than 25% of the time in the majors based on your AA numbers. Remember alot of guys are given a chance and flame out so 500 PA's doesn't guarantee MLB success.
