Lol, f'n Topps. Uh, Stanton has no 2013 Platinum autos as far as I know unless they are beyond rare. I search multiple times a day and have never seen one live or redemption. I also agree, sticky.

I do however want that card. The asking was far too high for my liking. Seller wanted at least three times what it was worth.

Edit: I did just find a complete cl for 2013 and there is indeed a Purely Platinum Giancarlo auto (1/1) for 2013. That would make me the aforementioned "dingus" as well as doing something I despise, having to apologize to Topps. Topps, I am ..... errrrr ...... uhhhhhh ....... mmmmmmmm, f it. As many mistakes as they make I'm allowed at least one wrong call out of them but it appears that I indeed was wrong.

Yep, he must let up when he swipes it across the card because a vast majority of the ones I own are like that. He does sign an absolute poo ton of autos so I can't say that I blame him for being a tad lazy with it. I actually wish he would sign less so I could spend less.

Lol, I know what you mean. I'm the same way about some players. I just can't deal with a streaky auto. I've wanted to pick up some Stanton autos a few different times, but I just can't deal with streaky autos, so I always pass.

I feel that I was partially responsible for topps implementing this info. Several months ago I went right to the president of topps to show my dismay of the redemption department. I mentioned these weekly updates, which by now are not weekly. They are a step in the right direction, but we all need to realize they fact that topps is over 8000 cards behind on mailing. It is nice to see a card you had is ready, but that doesn't mean it is at the post office. The only solution for topps would be to stop promising cards they can't produce in a timely manner......but this won't happen.
