Me gusta base cards, but they are just taking up lots of space. Where and how do you guys store your base cards?

Scans would be amazing, thanks in advance (if I get any replies )!

Edit:
Also, what do you do with your base cards? Just let them sit?

I put sets in 9 card sleeves in 3 ring binder. Base goes in those cardboard boxes that you get boxes in

Throughout the year I will put all of my base and other virtually worthless cards in a two row. When it gets filled up, I give them away on here. Not sure why anyone would keep thousands of worthless cards. I could see keeping a select few that you liked but.....hoarding base....

I keep mine in 3500 boxes. Organized by year, team, position, player and brand. I have custom cabinets built when I run out of room so they stow away nicely.

Use them as decoy for cards that I sell on ebay.

Some say "thank you for the extra cards"
One gay said "Stop including pieces of crap base cards, I have no use for them."

That guy hurt me a lot.

I keep all of mine sorted numerically by brand and year. I have literally a ton since the 1980s. I own a card store and am planning on putting them in there shortly. What I want to do is have people come in with needs/wants and trade like 2/1 of the same brand. They give me 2 1990 Topps (no matter the player) and they get 1 of mine (no matter the player). That way, the years can stay loaded. If they don't want to trade (which would be free), they would be charged low BV (usually 1-2 cents) on any of them.

There's a guy in Plano that does that and I really enjoy going in there looking for stuff to complete sets and/or player PCs. So I figured I'd give it a try. Obviously the stars and nicer RCs would be pulled, but everything would be in those boxes.

All of my base are in 3500 count boxes, organized by year and brand and all in numerical order. I have about 90,000 right now. Trying to trim back, but then again, 2014 Topps Series 1 will add another box to the stack.

I make boxes out of wood. I measure the top loader or card and build a custom wood box around them. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/02/u6a8u6ep.jpg
For example, and yes I have lots.

This made me laugh. Yeah, I stopped keeping base cards. Takes up too much room. I know people donate them, but i have been selling them in about 2000 card lots.

Usually wipe my ass with them then mail them back to the card manufacturers so they can include in future buyback products.

Yeah like he said. In all seriousness though I create sets out of mine and put the ones that I'm close to completing in binders. The rest go in boxes.

This is what I do as well. I have to have a specific number of cards from a set before I begin putting them in pages

I get a case or two worth built up and list them on Ebay in a big lot. Put them in a flat rate box and get rid of that crap. Buyers get a great deal on a lot of freshly pulled cards and I get them out of my house.
