When did fees increase? I received a payment for $3.50 and after the fees I was left with $3.10!?! I thought PayPal charged 2.9%.

Yea you forgot to add in the 30 cent charge.

Plus if it was international, the charge is more.

If you are selling a lot of items under 12.00 I would get a Paypal micropayments account. It is a 5 cent charge but a higher percentage. After about 12.50 the fees offset and the micro becomes more expensive.
