I think you should pay whatever you are comfortable with. If it's $400, so be it. Of you want it and have the money, go for it. Of course, all this depends on how bad you want it

I'd say $150 max is fair....but it's a 1/1.

Tough call because its a pitcher with a bat barrel. Epic card nonetheless! I dont think Ive seen any of the bat 1/1s for less than 400 in this product. Most were well over $1000

Pretty much agree with this.

You could buy an entire Bat with Auto for far less than $400.00, I would agree with the $125.00/ $150.00 range.

I'd say $225 tops if you really want if $250 but I honestly don't see this card being worth over $175

So you are recommended him a price lower then one has ever sold before. So basically he will not get to own it at your suggestions lol. Way to help the guy out

If the seller wants $400, and you want it, then you're going to have to fork it over since it's a one of one. I own the Josh Hamilton bat knob! :)! Pretty sweet card in person.

I agree with most of you that $400 is pretty high consider all of these sales under $400 here tier one bat knob | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=tier+one+bat+knob&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=0&LH_Sold=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=200&_fpos=&_fsct=&LH_SALE_CURRENCY=0&_sop=12&_dmd=1&_ipg=25&LH_Complete=1)
I want it but I dont think I'll be able to get him to come down even using recent sales unfortunatley...

I would say 200.

If It were of Scott Kazmir back when I had a HUGE Kazmir collection... I would probably had gone $150.

I think $250 is a fair offer, but if the seller is firm at $400 and its a PC card and you have the money. Then take it at $400, but know your most likely going to lose out if you ever try to sell it.

That's a sick card but I wouldn't pay more than $200 for it, especially since it seems he won't be with the Nats after the 2015 season (just my opinion as a Nats fan). Good luck!

If the owner won't move off his price and you want the card you sorta have to pay his price or wait him out.

You'll never get it for under 200.00 unless the seller is a kid who knows no better. I'd expect 350.00-400.00 would be reasonable. Anything under 300.00 and I'd jump on it.

The risk you take is that, if you aren't able to acquire it at an acceptable price to the seller and someone else does buy it, you may never see it on the market again, given its' scarcity. Good luck on your pursuit, whatever you decide.

At $400 it is not going anywhere. Pass on it until the seller has more of a reasonable expectation.

Thanks guys for all of your input! He apparently has gotten offers of $400 before i messaged him and he turned them down so he probably wont be moving on his price anytime soon. I dont have the funds to buy the card at the moment anyways I am trying to save up for my first case but I'm not too sure which to pursue. I'll probably end up going for a case but I have no real idea what I want. i guess i'll decide when I've collected enough cash...
thanks again for all of your guys input,
Zach

Don't get why he didn't take $400 when he had the chance.

Is the seller a member here? I am not buying the $400 plus offers that were turned down. Just trying to drive the price on you I bet.

I do not believe he is a member on here though he did have the card up for sale at $650 obo a while ago and it had two offers from the same guy so I dont know whether or not to trust him on saying he got an offer of 400,

Doesn't really matter if he got those offers or not. Tell him your offer of $250 (or whatever you feel comfortable with) is on the table and to let you know if he'd be interested.

This guy is active on Beckett and I've done some deals with him. You might be able to work out a trade with him. Here's the thread about the card you're looking at.

Yeah i showed him my bucket but I am low on high end at the moment and he didn't like anything I had, so it looks like i might just have to save up some money or pass on the card,

Have you thought of just getting a full sized bat and/ or ball that's autographed, it may be cheaper than this small card with a bit of a piece of a bat on it, and for those who remember the articles last year in Beckett, you never know if the "game used" jerseys and bats used on the cards are authentic anyway.

If he'd sell for $400, I'd say take it, I'd pay that if I had the money and wanted this card, and I know that family members buy his cards so high end could go quickly.
