...just enough land for an NFL stadium. Are the Rams coming back to LA?

Stan Kroenke of St. Louis Rams purchased L.A. land - NFL.com (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000320841/article/report-stan-kroenke-of-rams-purchased-la-land)

LA can't keep a football team. History will repeat again (again) and the Rams will move to OKC.

Interesting, why don't you think LA will be ablle to keep a NFL team?

Because LA residents only care about teams that are relevant. When the Clippers sucked, noone showed up, when the Lakers sucked, noone showed up, when the Raiders and Rams sucked, noone showed up, and they lost their team, multiple times.

Rams and Raiders. :D
One of the biggest cities population-wise, couldn't keep either team whether it was ticket sales or stadium issues or owners not happy. Then there was the Falcons / Arthur Blank meeting. It would've been great for LA, but it would leave a gaping hole in the NFC South.
I believe they deserve a team, however I'm not sure they can hold one. The STL market is drying up for the Rams it seems, and the move to LA would definitely fit being in the NFC West but not too sure if it would work out.
Third times a charm??? Lol

It's the 'Hollywood effect.'

This is true.

Plus Los Angeles has a lot of fans like myself, who moved here after becoming a fan of a team. So I probably wouldn't show up to many Rams games. But LA will have two NFL teams, just not sure when.

Which two teams do you think will be the ones moving to LA? My guess would be the Rams and Raiders.

Good point, don't forgot about the Dodgers during the McCourt days, and now under a different ownership group with a winning team, and a seemingly endless chequebook.

I could see this coming after Georgia Frontiere died the franchise has gone down hill.

I am guessing Rams and Chargers. Not a whole lot of love for the Chargers in San Diego. Plus the taxpayers don't want to pay for a new stadium.

yep. the seats were empty. Now that they made the Playoffs this past year, everyone in LA wants to go see them. Puig also helps.

That is a pretty broad statement that can be said about any team. Atlanta season attendance numbers have gone up from 64,000 to 70,000 in the past 5 years due to performance.

In ATL, there are a lot of transplants from the late 90's/early 2000's that came here all for work when there was work, so a lot of them still hold on to the teams they loved. Some converted.
Then there are those bandwagon fans that surfaced because of Vick and swear that they will never EVER AGAIN go watch another Falcons game again because Vick was the best QB ATL ever had............................................... I hope those people keep their bandwagonin' promises.
I meet a few every year. "Let go of the past..."

This is true. When I first moved out here I could go to Clippers games dirt cheap, and no one was there. Obviously that isn't the case anymore. I'd love to get the Rams (or any team out here). I'm tired of driving all the way to San Diego to watch a game.

This is unfortunately true. When the Kings won the Cup, they suddenly had a ton of fans. Speaking of the Clips, back in the day, the team had to advertise the visiting talent, such as Jordan, Bird, Magic, etc., as reasons to even go to one of their games.

Yep, I remember the Kings winning also. It was like all of a sudden people in LA realized there was a Hockey team.
