A recent rewarding experience, now to share with you

Long story short...

-Close friends young son (6 yrs old) recently became a Browns fan.
-Had a Cameron Jordan contenders auto in the good ol' card box.
-Gave Cameron Jordan contenders auto to him as a surprise
-Reaction was priceless...a football fan and card collector for life.

So now I want to share it with you. The rule is very simple -

You must give the card to someone similar to the story about. No keeping it, no selling it, no being a Richard about it...give it away like the story above (simple right???) KARMA will find you if you can't follow the rule.

These couple cards aren't earth shattering and that's not the point. I hope at least one of you gets something out of this.

I recently did that myself o a friend who had a boy who didn't get any presents for Xmas. I ended up giving him all my 2012 extras and I have never seen a smile so big in my life. He still talks to me every week asking if we can go get cards. I would love the minter myself if possible. Gave mine away to my buddy who was a contenders fan

Nope not for me. That same kid liked the cardinal cards that were in the collection. But he doesn't have any autographs cuz I gave that one away. It would be for him, not me

I would if i knew anyone that would want them lol unfortunately i dont know any little kids that i could get into the hobby. Hoping to possibly find a place to give my base to and hopefully get some kids interested in sports, if not into the hobby itself.

If you are so inclined, I wouldn't mind getting the Raji sent my way so that I could give it to one of the young football card collectors where I work. I've given the young fellow a jersey card or two before, but never an auto. I think he would love it.

Good call! To bad all my friends kids are spoiled and set for life and will never collect a card! Now if it was stock in a company I'm sure they'd figure it out! Not to sound like an a$$ but that's really how people are...but they can buy $50k plus Mercedes as bday present for their kids wives, etc! So you know..their cool for driving that brand. Not trying to be negative as I feel your gesture is well established and a positive. Most people can't give a dollar away without asking for another. I'd love to give the Raji too a friends kid but he might not be on the packers this year! Kudos for the good deeds to creating values..it's hard to come by in people these days!

I just did this last night I gave away all my base cards, two autos and two playmakers figurines to my coworkers two sons,its an awesome feeling the smile they get and how excited it is for them to find base cards of superstars. Just bought some more stuff today so ill be giving them out tommorow. Awesome gesture man!
