while at target today picking up a few things my 13 year old asks if he can get a pack of cards. he normally spends my money on wrestling but not today. A pack of Panini contenders. only bad thing is that it is a redemption, but can't complain about a $3 retail hit like this.

Nice! The only down side is that he has to experience the frustration of a redemption, but 1) at least it's Panini and not Topps and 2) may as well break him in early.

we decided to go ahead and redeem this even though we aren't smith fans. until the other night we didn't realize these were number to 25. hopefully we will get it and it will be nice enough to send off to beckett for grading.

its been almost 5 months since we redeemed this and no luck yet. he hasn't signed them yet. any thoughts? should I continue to wait and hope he signs them or should I ask for a replacement?

I would call panini. Most of the time they have them and are just slow at shipping out. Usually works for me and I get it in a couple days.
