The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been a relevant part of music for the last two decades or so and Bruno Mars is the closest thing that my generation has to a Michael Jackson type of performer (I should include JT as well).

Bruno is amazing and can actually sing exactly like he sounds on his albums. He's a great talent to watch.

I'm just glad the Chili Peppers got a whole song in. I was so disappointed a few years ago when it was the Black Eyed Peas performing at Halftime. Slash came out in the middle of a song to shred, then not even a minute later, they just kind of shooed him off the back of the stage in time for the next song!

Halftime was the only thing worth watching IMO. Even the commercials were pretty boring this year (except for the Doberwawa). I don't know a single Bruno Mars song, but found him very entertaining. And the Peppers almost always put on a good show. Wish they would have gotten to do more than one song though.

I'm not a fan or like the music of the fruity little poptart that is Bruno Mars. But he indeed did put on a good show. RHCP were pretty good as well. One of the best halftime performances in recent history

And WAY better than that bulls#!t Beyonce performance from last year. She's a joke. So I think anyone they got for this year would look amazing following that.
