Came across this card and looked at bidding history.

High bidder paid $290.85, if not for the second high bidder, the card would have sold for $17.35

I need to pull some SSSSSPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP's from contenders

crazy...

The short prints are crazy. I sold a dysert variation for ~$250

This really defies all logic. Look at the SPs from 2012…a VASTLY better product, and most can be had for under $40.

I sold my dysert variation SSP right after listing it. And now I have a brad Sorensen SSP variation that no one has even had any interest in

Agreed - I am having problems wrapping my head around quite a few of the sale prices. Thrilled that there are people out there looking to complete such a tough set - helps those of us who need to move extras or singles from cracking boxes.

That being said - it blows my mind that someone would pay $200-$350 for a no name player (Chance Wormack, Mychal Rivera, Burkhead, Fuller, James) without a confirmed print run.

I think there is a 0% chance that those particular players will EVER go up in value, more likely to go down, if anything.

This is crazy! I can't believe almost every scrub is pulling down near Tyron Smith/Michael Brockers type money. Does Panini plan on releasing hard print runs for these any time soon? I'm curious to see when the next Dunlap crash of 2010 will be lol.

Although it's not an SSP, I have a DION Sims variation SP 200 or less. There have only been 4 listed since release and I have the only one that has been posted since the SP list was release and I have only even had 2 views this whole time. I feel your pain.

You can use Julius Peppers and Larry Fitzgerald as the bar for the highest prices. I am not completely sure but I would imagine there are a handful of master collectors that pick these up every year, get what they need and wait until next year.
