grownups have kids do their dirty work sometimes at these large shows both to buy sell or trade, or some kids are so Good they do it themselves. I mean its hard to get mad at a 13 year old, that says he only has 220.00 for your mike trout auto and these 5 jesus familia mets pitcher autos....wanna trade?

Kids are sneaky
remember they don't have a wife, a gf, or kids of their own, or a local bar or dance club they went to the night before....

they have school homework and from 3pm until their parents remember to tell them its time for bed to check completed listings, and their grandpas wallet or grandmas purse to buy more wax

bottom line small shows in inner citys tons of kids, they will walk up to every dealer and dump their off-graded smudged autos off centered bad cornered cards


heres semper's 5 simple steps

step 1, if they still scream" trick or treat" don't deal w/ them

step 2 they always quote ebay completed and always ask ebay completed, so if you can't follow step 1, use step 2-5
step 2, immediately offer them 30% off ebay they get nervous and won't deal

step 3 , never trade, they only want something thats worth 30% more than their last ebay completed. So trading will get locked out.

Step 4 they never have cash, so you can't make card cash deals, don't think about it, unless your giving them cash and a card like trading up..this works well if you can't avoid steps 1-3

step 5, they may have their parents or an older hot sister thats old enough to drive, don't waste your time shes prob 19 and shes mad shes at a card show,
so follow my step 5......

Tell them i have to make money i need to buy @ 30% off ebay unless the card did over a few hundred then i can pay closer to ebay market if theres a run.......

Step 5 is imperative, be it a trade, card cash deal, just a cash deal
don't forget step 5......

These kids usually went to 100 dealers, their deal of card(s) easily has a 90% chance of a surface issue or corner issue , so get a flashlight out and even a ruler , yes they get trimmed cards or trim...



let them know just because your a kid, it doesn't give you the right to rip me off

and now sp robert turbin contenders, i like redmeption contenders over 200 as of lately

Ill never understand people on this forum. You don't like what the guy has to say you don't enter his thread. You can see who created the thread but yet you still come on and read it? That to me means you must not mind it to much.

Even if you want to read it doesn't mean you have to comment in the thread but thats all people do on here.

I also believe he was doing many deals to get the itrader % boosted back to close to 100 so you wouldn't have to see those negs on there.
