I am considering getting a damaged Gold SPA Auto replaced with the same card. Has anyone dealt with them recently with issues like this. Seems like ages since I did anything with UD. I know the last time I did it was a waste of time. Thanks for any input guys!

I had an exquisite Demarco Murray redemption that was not going to be signed, I think it was the black Lustrous or something like that, they actually called me and asked me what I would like. Sent me three cards that were very reasonable in value, so I had no complaints.

UD is far better than Topps. I have a card (1/1 Platinum red shield auto) with them that they are not producing and they offered me a low ball offer. I told them I disagreed. They wanted me to provide them evidence for my value, which I gave them over 20 completed ebay auctions for showing there offer was ridiculous. They came back and said sorry we are sticking with our value which we believe is fair market value, and said it was not the value it sold for on ebay. HuH!!! I thought ebay completed sales would be a good indication of fair market value.

Good luck with the card, I would bet that UD would take care of you.

I appreciate the reply, that is good to hear and glad they took care of you properly. Believe me I know the horror that is Topps customer service LOL. Thanks again!

UD has always been hit and miss in my experience, which leads me to believe that it all depends on who is working with you. I've had great replacements. I've had mediocre replacements. However, my worst experience with UD (and Panini for that matter) still beats my best experience with Topps. I've personally never felt totally jipped by UD.
