I'm very new to the COMC experience, I'm familiar with how to purchase cards, but very unfamiliar with the selling aspect of the website.

I recently put together around 260-ish cards (95% baseball) that I was thinking of sending off.

Here is my question:

Most of the cards are 2012-2013 Bowman (with some 2011 mixed in) ranging from base cards all the way up to orange refractors.

The majority will consist of Blue paper /500, Orange paper /250, and Silver Ice cards of both veterans, rookies and prospects. Will these types of cards sell well? I'm a little worried that at $0.25 per card for processing fees, that it won't be worth it.

Any advice as to what sells well and what doesn't for baseball cards? I would just hate to ship out that many cards when they'll just sit there, or be making pennies on the dollar.

I would appreciate any help, advice or insight for a rookie seller!

Thanks in advance,

Checking to see if they are worthwhile is as simple as going to the site and searching for your specific card. If there are a bunch of copies or one listed is already lower than what you want to pay - do not send.

All kinds of stuff sells - as long as the price is right.

Find the listing for the card.

Click on the price.

If you have "History Points", you'll be able to see the sales history of that card for 24 hours, using one History Point.

If you don't have history points, you can participate in the COMC Challenge.

If there is no listing for the card, it's probably worth sending in.

If the cheapest copy of the card is $1 or more, it's probably worth sending in.

If more copies of the card sold than are on the site, it's probably worth sending in (for example, if there are 3 copies on the site but 8 have sold).

If there are multiple copies of the card being offered for less than $1, you're probably better off sending in something else.

The stuff that isn't worth sending in to COMC might do well as a bulk lot on eBay, if grouped with similar items.
