View Full Version : FINALLY after nearly 2 years of searching...

I was able to pick up a 2012 Topps Magic James Casey Pigskin Mini Parallel /50! :flex:

Insane that it took me so long to find this card - in the meantime, I was able to pick up all of his other cards from this set, including the Black Border Parallel Auto /5 and the Topps Vault Blank Back Proof 1/1.

I know he is not a big time player, but he is one of my main PC guys, and this card was fun and frustrating to hunt down. Just thought I would share my excitement, thanks for the read/look! :)

Congrats! I bet you were thrilled to find it. Do you have another challenge lined up or under way?

I was beyond thrilled - in all that time, I was only able to track one other (missed out on it on eBay).

My ongoing challenge is actually picking up more of his cards. I think I have between 85-90% of all those made, so they are getting harder and harder to find. I think it also has to do with his lack of popularity... if people have him, he is probably buried in a junk box :(

I have his elite black status 1/1 and a pretty complete PC of him, great cards and a classy guy to collect. He needs more pt for sure.

Congrats Heather! That's a great looking set you have there! Don't you just love the feeling of finding that one card that you feel like you've searched both ends of the Earth for? Those Pigskin Mini's are surprisingly very hard to find for being numbered /50.

It's a great feeling when you find that one card you just have to own but can't find. Congrats, man. I know the feeling.

Awesome to hear from a fellow collector! I collect him for the same reasons. I have quite a few dupes, if you are looking for anything PLMK. I would love to trade for anything I don't have.

I've always loved Topps Magic. I also put together the 2010 Topps Magic set for him - I don't remember having nearly as hard a time with it, which was surprising since his base autos are SP /15:
