Dream ASG event

The event I would love to see, but I know has a very slim chance of ever happening is a 1 on 1 event.

8 players bracket style. Games played to 11 by 2s and 3s. Short games to prevent injuries and designed to not wear out the players.

You get key matchups at each position. Obviously 2nd round you could get odd matchups like Curry vs Durant. But I'd love to see a matchup like that. Alternating possessions gives Curry a shot instead of make it/take it style.

Just an idea. I know it will never happen with worries about injuries. But I'd love to see it.

It works better in today's game in my opinion. I don't think the league would do it because they get a bad enough reputation for being a one-on-one game today.

I think Durant would do it if it was offered. He talked yesterday about looking forward to a little 1 on 1 with Lebron during the game.

This would be so freaking cool. That video of Lanier and Jo Jo White was awesome. How sweet would it be to see Durant vs CP3, or Dwight Howard vs Steph Curry? Sadly, egos get in the way, and so this will never happen. But if it did? Pure awesomeness.

As an aside, I think Russell Westbrook would win.
