Been thinking about this a lot in relation to the restructuring.

What are your thoughts? Trade away the old guys whose value has increased and are a lot of baggage?

Keep the Young guys, Miller, Thomas, Clay, Egnew, Jordan, Tannehill & Build on them?

Or keep the old guys & draft new guys?

I think the latter would be a huge mistake.....but the Phins have done it in the pass. Bit concerned about that as I'm not sure on the take of the new management. Haven't heard anything like that. Though I think we should be on the market for a better backup quarterback.

They need to draft an Tackle in the 1st round and 2nd with all but pouncey gone on the oline we need to start there. WR's are fine and we shoudl try and resign Keller opposite Clay but he will probably go elsewhere due to wanting more than 1 year.
Our Oline is and was the biggest area.

I say keep everything but O-Line with exception of pouncy. They should get rid of Keller and go with clay all the way. When the Draft comes they should go heavy on O-Line picks.

I just wish Ross would have cleared house and hit the reset button. Now they have a band aid GM and a coach who looks like the most clueless person on the planet. Hickey seemed to do a decent job drafting in Tampa, here's hoping that he finds some gems

The Dolphins need to load up on oline and then find a rb somewhere in there. I have no clue how the draft will pan out for them though with Hickey at the helm. Miami is usually unpredictable in the first place. They will either do the exact opposite of what they should do or reach for a guy. With that said I fully expect a DE or a WR to be drafted first lol.

No matter what, they need to stick with Egnew and make him a star. The value of 20% of the cards I pulled in 2012 depend on it.

Their coaches are lousy talent evaluators. Egnew is a beast and they can't see it!! This coming from someone that was Egnewed way too many times and am just trying to cope with his lack of talent.

Hickey wasn't the one drafting in Tampa. He was just there with little input. He's been with them for ages and could barely move up the ranks with outsiders getting promotions and jobs before him. When he left not even an eyelash was batted. Apparently one Tampa beat writer said he fully believes Hickey had no hand in drafting any of the gems like David, Martin, etc.

Hickey was also going to be fired before the Dolphins hired him, so it looks even worse. From what I read when he was hired, he seemed to have lot of input on the drafting process. For the Dolphins sake, I hope he did. But knowing the Dolphins...he didn't have any.

Haha I hope so too, but it was probably just a fluff job because he was the only guy who would take the job. Lake Dawson turned down the job for effs sakes... You know it's bad when you're even interviewing someone like Lake Dawson...

I went to browse a Bucs forum after the hiring and they all seemed to rejoice and Lol at the hiring, so that didn't instill any confidence either..

I would rather see the Dolphins go after some veteran free agents for the o-line than just draft a bunch and hope they work out. Other than o-line and rb, they just need playmakers, guys that can find the endzone or force turnovers. Sounds easy enough, lol.

I think they make a run at brandon albert. The chiefs cant afford to hit him with the franchise tag again.
I think with how bad the phins wanted him before they will make him a top priority. They need to let go of Thomas he has shown he just isnt gonna be what they thought. I would like to see a Ricky williams type bruser back to go with Miller. Not sure who is out there but it needs to be done.
