Hi y'all,

I borrowed the camera from my dad, trying to take some better pics of my cards, like I said: trying!! :D

I've seen several people on here making absolutely stunning pic of their cards, so I gave it a try...

I'm a real amateur when it comes to taking good pics so be nice!! :p

Any suggestions are welcome: angle, lightning,...

I do like them a lot more than just using a scanner...

Here a few, still like them to be more "shiny" :D

I've heard of these work wonders when taking pictures of cards. Diffuses the light and creates a crisp clear picture. Or so I've heard.

Nice cards! I prefer using a camera over a scanner. You just get alot nice pics with a lot more color definition IMO

set up the camera on a tripod, use a narrow aperture (like f/8 or higher) and a low ISO, zoom in, and use the timer function. seems like you're using a wide angle lens so that it's distorting your pics, if you zoom in from a distance you'll have less distortion. the narrower the aperture the more time the shutter stays open especially with a low ISO setting, that's why you'll need a tripod. hope that helps, nice cards!

I usually use the stand for the card. It is easier for me to adjust for lighting. These were taken under living room lamp.
