View Full Version : TTM - Getting players to sign BASEBALLS (not the cards, just the balls)

Can anyone share their experiences with TTM when shipping baseballs to baseball players (to have them sign/autograph your baseballs)?
I am interested in trying to get a few baseballs signed from Ichiro, Jeter, Rodriguez, McGwire, and Ramirez without having to go up to those expensive signings out of state.
Thoughts anyone? Has it worked for you?

I think you are going to have a slim chance on getting the players you listed to sign anything...they don't really sign TTM. I think I saw 1-2 successes from McGwire in Spring Training. I got McGwire many years ago, before his big home run years. Otherwise, I have heard of some people using the large padded envelopes to send the ball in, or a smaller box. Either way, just make sure you get it weighed and put accurate postage on your return envelope/box before you seal it and send it. Also, you might want to include the pen you want them to sign with. Good luck!

Go to Florida or Arizona for some Spring Training games, you should have a good chance of getting some of the better players, maybe not those guys, but some good players on the teams.

I agree-probably no way you'll get any of them TTM. You'll end up losing the ball and paying postage double for nothing.

I don't do baseball, but the first pick last year; Strasburg or whatever his name is, signs OMLB TTM. There are lots of people who will, just none of who you listed.
