Where do you see that 76ers are wanting a second round pick for him?

on rotoworld............

The Sixers are looking to deal Evan Turner for a second-round pick to get him off their books, but have not found any takers. It's only practice and this is really not newsworthy, but it's worth mentioning.

Interesting. Everything else I've read said that they'll take back a 2nd rounder (instead of a 1st) as part of a "package" for him.

Not for a 2nd straight up - although that's what your link said.

I can't believe that's the case or some team close to the title would rent him for the year for the 2nd rounder and not pick up his qualfying offer next season.

Obviously the 76ers are asking for more than a 2nd round pick.

Evan Turner has a $13m cap hold next season... I wouldn't touch him w a ten foot pole.

This. More and more teams are unwilling to bail other teams out of their financial mistakes. If they're going to do it they expect to be compensated for doing so.

np... lots a talent... but as always, if it doesn't make sense in your mind it's probably because of the awesome CBA.

How crazy is it that Exan Turner (and his contract) is curretnly viewed by all 30 GM's as a liability. smh.

Evan Turner is really good and getting better. Pacers were smart to get him.
