I told you the emeralds match the Celtics patches the best. The Pelicans patches don't look bad either, but the others just CLASH...

I know, thats what kills me about the Flawless patch set; the orientation of the patches, and the top of the heads being cut which leads to slight flaking.

I have been thinking for a while about an idea Panini should have used and should still use in the future for Flawless.

With the patch set they should have 4 parallels; #/25, #/10, #/5, #/1

The #/25 should be silver like they currently are
The #/10 should be gold like they currently are
The #/5 should be a one of the colors of the jersey so its more attractive
The #/1 should be remaining the platinum style

100% agree. There have been several cards I'v passed on just because the patch being upside down would bug me.

Thanks Hairy, yeah I thought about waiting until I complete the set before posting but I feel like it will be quite a while before that happens, so I might as well get it out there now. I have noticed recently a drastic drop off in the emerald rookies showing up on eBay, and I have yet to even see 2 of the rookies emerald versions emerge. In addition to that the only emerald rookies on eBay right now are over priced at the current market value and the sellers aren't budging.

Who knows, maybe some people will come forward with some of the cards I need and we can strike a deal. After all that was never one of my intentions of this thread from the start ;):D
