I've been hunting a card like this for a while and honestly, the biggest barrier was either not having enough money or not finding one that I thought was perfect for my budget.
Well, the money problem slowly worked itself out by selling a few cards on eBay and through BO. I actually tried to barter a trade with Tony "KOBE "MVP" 83" for a quad patch card I had, jersey numbered to Tony Parker, his favorite player. He would get the quad tag and I would get a nice Tim Duncan auto equal in value. After about a month of us searching, he offered to buy the card straight up from me. The money I got from the quad tag plus some sales on BO/eBay started adding up.
Within a few weeks the card I wanted popped up on eBay. I contacted the seller asking if he would take it off of auction and sell it straight up, through eBay. He gave me a fair price and after some help with verifying it, I made the purchase. Big thanks to Adam "drob50" and Benny "drobfan8" for that!
Lastly, today was the big mailday and it just so happens to be my birthday so suffice to say, today was a good day!
Here is the card

Anyway, thanks for reading my long drawn out story. I'm just thrilled to have this in my collection as my first Tim Duncan auto! Card looks great, any spots on card are from scanner. I'm planning on sending it in for grading as I want to make sure it stays protected and auto doesn't fade.
Would BGS or PSA be better for this card? I'm not re-selling, just want to keep it in tip top shape.
Thanks for reading,
-Chris
