The vintage special has been rolling for a while.

I hope it is really good come Monday because they have been bad. I want to send in my Wislers

Why would they run a vintage special? They're a distant 3rd when it comes to pre-1980 stuff

Personally I like the BVG criteria being tough on vintage. The card quality is better than with similar grades from the others.

I've honestly only owned two BVG cards. I know they grade sheet-cut stuff, so I avoid them. I'd be leery about buying any 8.5+ stuff.

I was able to cross a BVG 8 OPC Gretzky rookie to PSA, so I guess they aren't all suspect

All grading companies have these stories. I would take a BVG 8 over a PSA 8, 100% of the time.

Maybe for aesthetics, but I wouldn't for resale.

Then again, I only buy SGC and I haven't resold anything in several years
