I opened up my auctions to international buyers about a month ago and I've noticed I am getting a lot of international sales in the last 2 weeks, including a lot of $50+ sales. Has anyone had bad experience selling to international buyers? Does ebay back the seller if the shipping label has been printed through ebay and the buyer claims they didn't get the card? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I sold International, but I don't have items value more than $50. I only had combine sales in that level. Thank God. I never have an issue with an International buyer.
Be ready to see some non-payers (like some Domestic buyers), some people trying to get "free" or discount shipping for just 1 item (like some Domestic buyers), some people telling you that S&H is high so they can ship cheaper than you (like some Domestic buyers), and some people trying to make deals outside eBay or impose his/her payment method (like some Domestic buyers). Get in mind not matter if the buyer is Domestic or International. You aren't begging for sales. And always give a good service like answering questions. :)!

The USPS added more countries to its International Delivery Confirmation. So if your buyer is from one of that countries and the status goes "Delivered". You will be good in that part.
Just get in mind. Nothing against white envelopes sellers, but protect very well the card. One time, I bought cards from a seller in Canada. He shipped in white envelope. I received the envelope with round corners and open in some areas of the border. Last time I checked. He wasn't selling anymore.
