If you want an honest answer -- I wouldn't do a break with you because of your age and the lack of legal culpability associated with it. I could totally see someone losing money on a group break if they calculated shipping or pakcaging wrong (or ebay fees).

honestly, if you have to ask this, then you probably will not have much success doing a group case break.

Well I don't know because I am relatively new and plus I wouldn't be doing this myself my dad would open and help me ship. Iono I hate math so I probably won't be doing one for awhile.

I've been in a bunch of breaks and just to give you my take on all the new people wanting to get in on the fun, here's my criteria for picking who's I'm in on...
I trust everyone until I have to send them money. My best bets are guys who are active here and I see all the product they've been buying and selling. If you read the threads here on who's breaking, buying, selling, giving dealer info, and other stuff, you'll get a feeling for the steady guys.
The best breaks are simple and to the point. Random slots, fixed price, rock solid rules, no wacky variations, etc.
The best breakers have the experience to process the whole deal as smoothly as possible.
I like the idea that you'd have your dad helping out. I'd probably buy some cheap slots from someone like you on a cheaper case. My buddy iluvfish broke a Topps FB Update case recently and that went fine, we all had fun and it didn't cost much. Maybe try something like that.
I don't think anyone is buying expensive lots (Ultimate, Exquisite types) from most people here unless they have rock solid reputations. That doesn't mean we don't have a lot of great people here.
Best Always,
Vinny

So, my buddy pulled the Clinton card from UD and didn't have an F*** clue about it. When I told him about the Beckett article and such he decided to keep it until the elections. I'm trying to get him to sell it now while she's in the race. Look on Bay, I see that one just cracked $2K.
Your answers was QUOTE You should have screwed him over and just offered him $20 for it.
Now you been on under this new nic and I might add being very good :)!
But to trust you no wayyyy... in time maybe but not now.
just my opinion

waxpack - you're only 15? tell you what... tell your dad to write a letter saying he'll take full responsibility for your actions, sign it, scan the letter and maaaaaaaaaaaaybe... people will think about participating in a break you host.

Well it's not like I was going to be doing this break by myself in the first place. He was going to help open and ship stuff.

16 isn't much older than 15.....Im surprised how quickly everyone trusted me, but Ive been a solid poster, been buying from blowout and always here to answer questions.
16 is still scary to be sending close to $3000 on some cases. Please don't take that personally either. Im only 23 but age is everything to a lot of people, whether it's fair or not.

Yeah I think you were a rarity as far as a board newcomer (speaking relatively) having a successful break signup. Although I think a lot of the more experienced board members just don't really have the motivation to run group breaks here anymore for one reason or another...

Ive been a lurker of these boards longer than my reg date.I meant to register before but had troubles, but once I found the group break idea, I made sure to get signed up.
