Or will the auto fade on the cheap balls?

Just want to make sure I am okay....also I can use a BIC pen?

Anything other than an ROMLB will end up fading, no matter what pen is used.

No, it'll fade. Fake leather and plastic absorbs ink. Real leather holds the ink on the surface.

Wow, that is really important info! Thanks!

Any place to find the cheapest balls?

That's a challenge. Dick's sometimes has good deals. Ebay can be fair too. I'd expect to pay about $15 per Rawlings Official Major League Baseball. It seems pricey but would you rather pay $15 for a ball that will last forever and be highly collectible or pay $5 for a ball that will fade away in just a few years.

I guess I will never understand this. Why buy the cheapest baseballs to get signed when I autograph will just disappear? I think Rawlings sells baseballs that have minor flaws that are cheaper than normal. Might be worth trying that out.

Minor league ballpark I went to sold official Texas League balls for $10 I think. If you're into MiLB autos.

I think he means where they sell ROMLB for the cheapest. I like Target for their $16 ROMLB because it comes with a cube but I usually only need 1 or 2. If you plan on buying a dozen or two, Anaconda Sports and eBay are great.

Yeah, anaconda sports is the best place to get them if you're buying a dozen or more.

If it's too costly, you can always go with 8x10s. When I run out of ROMLB, I do that. You get a cheap $2 alternative and they look amazing. If you do this, go to Wal-Mart. That's probably the cheapest/smartest way to go if you're on a budget.

So, what you're saying is, Dick's has good balls?

Stick with a plain, blue Bic ballpoint pen. Definitely not a gel pen.

Get it on a ROMLB. They are great and dont fade. And they look great too!
