Just curious is to what people think of Sonny. I think his prices are slightly higher now then they were back in the post season. Me personally because of the increase now as to when he was pitching great in the post season make me think now would be a good time to sell.
Anybody else selling or holding him???
Thoughts?
Thanks

I think that depends on how A's collectors are as a market.
I would wager he'll have a pretty solid year, provided he keeps his head.
What are the prices for his stuff these days? $20/chrome or something? I'd bet they could double if he has a decent year.
I had a few offers north of $600 for his non auto super during the playoffs. I wouldn't imagine getting those offers again.
I have a few non-chrome cards of his, nothing much though. I'd wager those won't go up much more, since he'll probably have autos in a lot of 2014 products.

A lot of people are saying that he is gonna be great this year so I'd keep.

I think he is a great buy at this point. I would buy and hold, so he can get a full season under his belt. He certainly will get more attention if he builds off of last season and the A's are relevant.

Thanks for the response so far guys...
Like previously said if the A's had a bigger market they would probably sell for more.

IMO, hold.
I think he's due for a pretty good career and will likely get traded to a bigger market where his cards may become a little more pricey. Only thing that could hurt that is someone may not want his cards from when he played with the A's.

He probably won't get traded until 2018/19. That'd be one heck of a hold.
He also has a lot of non-performance based positives going for him, from a prospecting perspective. That can help with the value increase.

Hold for sure, imo he's a good buy right now. A solid year and his chrome stuff doubles even as an A.
