So I'm looking for some help with sending a TTM request (and therefore a SASE) out of the US. I want to do it for some baseball prospects (Japan and Latin America) before they hit the US and get bombarded. Not just focusing on sports though.

My question now is how to address and get postage for a SASE to the UK. Specifically, I want to send a request to an actor performing in a London theatre. How do I go about making sure the address and postage to him is right, and then back?

IRCs are no longer sold in the United states.

I have never had a problem with sending cash for the postage my latest success was from south Korea. I sent korean won in a small envelope. Went to the currency exchange to get it they are in every major city.

P.s.
You shouldn't worry about sending the currency in cash. Ttms are going to be hit or miss anyway. Just count it as a loss in stamps if nothing is returned.

Yeah, I had read the IRCs aren't used really anymore. But i was curious about other ways. I would think that sending native postage would increase my odds of getting a reply, since that would save the recipient some hassle with buying postage... I guess I could send a few pounds/euros instead. Hadn't thought to ask the theatre if they forward mail. I'll make sure to do that first. Thanks for input so far; I'll update later once I decided what to do...

I emailed the theatre and they said that they did forward mail and gave me the exact layout needed for addressing to envelope to him. Now at least I know that it will make it to UK, now just to decide on best way to get it back (hopefully)...
