For an orange 9.5/10? I'm thinking a bit more than $260. I could see the gold 9.5/10 market being around that (0 disrespect OP, it's your card, your price). I just thought I'd seek clarification on this claim.

Idk, his graded stuff seems to go crazy then, since raws get like 110 (last I checked, none of popped up in a while, that's where I may be going wrong on my value)

It depends on how you valuate I suppose. Raw blues sell for $70 a pop all day, so in theory a 9.5/10 would pull somewhere around $105-115. Golds typically pull 2x the price of blue (I say that loosely- some markets are different).

I'm not a JP fan but I can see where someone could buy an orange 9.5 for $260. The last raw orange went bin for 199.00 on 3/5. Isn't there already 5 or 6 BGS 9.5 Orange Crawford autos also? My point is if someone bought one raw for $180 and had $200 after grading it's possible to sell the card for $260 and still make 25%+ which isn't bad on something they probably had less than a month. The days of a 9.5 being double raw in colors are over if you haven't noticed as most raw colors are already priced to their print run. Most color 9.5s are in the 1.5x raw range now (if they are over $50 raw) and I see the gap getting even tighter the way BGS is handing out 9.5s like candy.

See, that's what funny on here.. If you don't like what someone has something posted for, then just click out of the thread, just like you do on ebay when you see something on there. You don't put them on blast and comment on it in the thread. I'll bet you wouldn't, or don't like it when someone does so on yours. The ironic part is, some on here will post in someone's else thread suggesting the OP's asking price is too much, yet they've done the same thing themselves when they've posted stuff for sale with a high asking price. Just because it's not posted for YOUR price there's no need to post in their thread about what you think it's worth, or what one or two of that same card may have sold for. That's what the PM option is for. And it says 550 or best offer. It looks like he's just trying to keep the catfish away as well as those looking for someone to just give something away.

You talk about that in the Hobby section, not in the Marketplace section.

Like I said. 260 for an orange gem is a very good price but not a crazy steal. The pop reports probably have a lot to do with what these are selling for and how gold gems get 260 while oranges get the same and a black gets 425
