Anyone been to the Ohio Sports Collector Show (http://www.ohiosportscollector.com/index.asp) in Strongsville this weekend? I am thinking about going on Sunday (less than an hour from me). Seems like a pretty big show with around 130 tables. Please post any comments if you've been. Thanks.:)!

Its one of the best shows in the country for Vintage. But there isn't much beyond vintage there. Years ago when they ran the show Dave & Adams and a handful of modern card dealers would show up, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I'm skipping this years as I'm really not a vintage collector. It was neat just looking around last year though. Nothing like the size of the National or anything, but a Vintage collectors dream.

Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it. I am not a vintage collector, and I saw that was the theme of the show, but I was wondering how many modern card dealers would be sprinkled in throughout the show. Let's say I was looking for Playoff Contenders autos from 2001-2009, would I have any luck at that show?
That might be a tough question to gauge, and I might just have to go to find out...

If its like it was last year, I don't think you'd have much luck. But admission is only like $4, and you'd probably see enough amazing old stuff to make it worth that price... and if you find any dealers with some modern stuff it would be a bonus.
A little farther away, but the show you should think about attending (if you don't already) is the Vet's Memorial show in downtown Columbus. Its about as big but there is more modern there than vintage. Next one is May 1-2.
