I was arguing about this a few months ago. Some people were talking about Davis with Lamarcus Aldridge, Kevin Love, and Dwight Howard in hobby terms, stating that he could never be a HUGE hobby deal because he was a big guy.

This line of thinking doesn't work with Davis. He's not a BIG-guy like other big guys. He grew up playing GUARD then grew a ton and was forced to change. In essense, he's a guard in a big man's body. His game is, for lack of a better word, a lot sexier than most bigs.

I've been saying it for months.... he's the guy right now. He's this year's Kyrie.... the guy who is blowing up and will make some collectors a bunch of cash. He's 21. Barring injury, he's a top 4-5 player every year for the next decade. I love watching the guy play. If I was a GM, I would trade anybody and everybody in the league that's not named Durant or Lebron for him.....

I just hope the Pelicans are able to keep him for a while. I really think they could be a title contender for a long while with a few personel moves, and better luck keeping guys healthy.

He used to be a shooting guard in high school because he wasn't very tall until his junior or senior year. That clearly helped him as he has a nice shooting touch.

The guy is a beast and at times looks like league MVP. Next year should be exciting to be a pelicans fan
