Wrestling cards selling for crazy $$$

Is it just me or have the newer wrestling cards been selling very high?

I mean there are no wrestling cards other than the wcw cards I have ever seen sell so high.

Bray Wyatt over $100 all day
Roman reigns over $80 all day

Ur opinions, will these increase? I don't see how, I can only see them going lower from here out, but who knows.

Reigns is my fav and I have an auto of him, I would hate to sell, but how can I not? Then rebut one in a year for $30-$40 were most wwe autos of stars settle at.

I want ur opinions.

i just listed my bray with a ridiculous BIN OBO (best way to do it with HOT cards or items)

I can buy one later incase they do go down.

That's what I'm saying, so will it go over $90 if/when he wins the title? Cuz I believe he will win the title as well. There was a drought of his cards on eBay, now there showing up and I think they can only go down after the crazie fans get there 1 auto they need. I got my roman auto for $18.99. If I sell at $90, that's a big profit!

well they are the first autos of alot of the new guys but also remember Chrome is coming out in June so more of their autos will be available and with Chrome comes the Refractors and Superfractors. I would expect a decrease then in the regular Topps autos but the Chrome ones I think will definitely hold value.

This is also true! But, roman won't have no chrome auto.

Not to mention, these guys get serious injurys. I wish no bad things on any of these guys but 1 bad fall and it's a rap!

I think more than a lot of past years is the wrestling fans truly are seeing that these guys have all of the tools and are the future of the business. Don't think there is a wrestling fan around that has said they were bored watching a Wyatt's family versus Shield match let alone segment.

I don't know if they will stay this hot but the bottom will not fall out. Plus WWE only usually puts Cena and Orton in all of their auto sets. Reigns has only been in 1 auto set, he wasn't in 14 topps. Who knows when he will be in another, same for Bray. The Reigns auto's have dried up big time, if I had one I would not sell. When the chrome comes out and we see super and refractor autos come out, the prices will be stupid high. But I can almost guarantee you that the auto checklist will be different. In a nut shell I think the newer cards will continue to sell well until the next product comes out, same thing happens with other sports cards.

There's solid interest in the Wyatt and Shield stables. The gimicks are working.

I see interest fading if either team breaks up.

As a longtime collector, just like ufcwecfan said, I don't think I've ever seen wrestling cards get hot so quickly the way these have. Are you guys familiar with the FCW cards from 2011 and 2012? Early cards of all three Shield members, AJ Lee and Paige were in those sets that were given away at FCW live events. They're absolutely insane. A Paige went for $350 a while back.

I'm a fan of wrestling in special WWF/WWE, but as collector of non-sport cards. I prefer comic book cards.

If you are wrestling fan and old to remember the Death of Superman (Superman #75) madness. It is just simple. It becomes a media sensation like the wrestlers in those auto cards. Not only the collectors and fans are interesting in those cards. A lot of people see a potential value in those cards as rare merchandise. So prices go sky rocket. Also in any collector league an autograph is an autograph.

In Puerto Rico, some years ago. A wrestling store invited a wrestler called Batista (before he becomes Batista) for signatures because the owners and a lot of fans were interested to see him. They saw the potential. I'm sure anyone with his signature from that day was very happy when he became champion.

About dropping of the prices. It will depend for how long they stay in the WWE and how far they go in the careers. If all you understand that a Roman Reigns autograph is more rare than a Cena or Orton card. You believe that Reigns can be WWE champion. It is your card. It is your decision. :)!
