View Full Version : What Is The Nicest Insert From The 90's That Doesn't Hold Much Value?

There are a ton of great cards from the 90's, some seem to catch on more than others. What are some of your favorite designs that aren't very popular or valuable? Not necessarily inserts even...I thought this thread would be a great opportunity to remember some great cards that many have forgotten about or tossed to the side because they dont hold much value:

One of mine is definitely:

95-96 Fleer Metal Rookie Roll Call

I actually considered doing a PC of him at one point because his name has always been so legendary. Also, one of my musician friends had kicked around the idea of wearing a God Shammgod jersey on stage. Of course it would have to be custom made, but that would be so damn legendary lol

I agree with OJ - Thunder Lift-Off are very nice. I pulled an Antoine Walker card from that set a year or two ago and was very pleased with it.

That's Jam is a cool acetate with each player a different flavor of Jam. Lol
Plus the description on the back is hilarious.

If these were rare they'd cost a fortune.

I even had 2 as a kid:)

Was there a hotter card on earth in 1993 than the Shaq Beam Team? Such a stunning set, great design, amazing photography and a raw set can be found for dirt cheap! Packs used to be $6 back in the day and at 1:36 packs, these were the first true "chase" card I can remember.

I've always loved this parallel. For other 90's inserts and parallels /100 that are highly popular, these get little attention for whatever reason:

and these...my god these! If these were numbered to 50 or 100 they would be rated higher than PMGs!! My most favourite card of all time. I actually went to a photocopy shop here and had them copy it and enlarge it in colour to A4 and its been in the front of my folder ever since. Got it laminated and everything...fricken love these cards.

Foil similar to the Game Dated version + hologram + nice pics (action, & not cropped like crap) and script typo

=

a nice insert at least 10 times cheaper than a hideous Paul George Panini :D

Some nice cheap cards listed in this thread, here's a few pics of some cheaper cards I had to own from my collecting days as a kid!

Living Legend is the bottom card(bad pic) and of course Scoring Kings isn't a cheap card but it sooooooooo belongs next to the others!
