How much you spent in 2014 in cards?

I think I am going broke with this hobby. Any of you keep track how much you spend this year? Jordan and LBJ alone cost me couple Ks this year already. :rolleyes:

2012-2013 was my year.
I QUICKLY became addicted to Prizm , then Select, then Crusade.. Followed by Flawless.. All the way to Immaculate.
2014 is on cruise control for now after a 100 MPH year last year, I'm just sittin back and enjoying the ride!!

$1500 Group Breaks
$500 Wax (net after selling the stuff I didnt need)
$800 On Ebay/Blowout

Roughly give or take 2.5-3K through 3 months.

Slow year thankfully, only bought one card back in January and nothing since so grand total is $4200 so far. Anticipate another big purchase this year though. Just waiting for the right example of my whale to surface!

While I have spent a ton (thousands), by purchasing at the right time then selling at the right time, I have made a good chunk of profit so when I do buy cards I want to keep, they end up being"free"

I recently have sold off a huge chunk of my stuff which was actually pretty liberating.

I'd guess something like $500 in wax, all of which were from LCS visits.

I have only spend about $1000 on PC stuff this year. In terms of wax I have grabbed a box of hoops, 2 regular Prizms, and a Jumbo and some previous years stuff (08-09 Topps and 06-07 Ultra). I have spent about $150 in supplies because I need uniformity and if one or two PC item is in a one-touch than every other PC item needs to be in a one-touch. All told, this year I have spent about $1600 so not too bad at all.

I had no idea of what I had spent exactly but you made me realize I have a problem. I added up just ebay purchases this year and it was $950. So I am thinking about double that including wax and Comc. Such an addictive hobby.
