Just curious if anyone has port sale experience. Do they work? Are people mostly giving stuff away at a fraction of what their realistic expectations could be over time? Do you guys think it would work for a mostly vintage port? Thanks in advance to those who reply! This board is great; it got me into COMC and has totally shifted my collecting focus overall!

If you do a port sale expect nothing but extreme lowball offers.

I had offered my port for sale ....only had acout 15 cards in it but all premium stuff.... Got a bunch of stupid offers and about two slightly reasonable ones.

It comes down to what you are selling - you will get a lot of low offers. Some offers may be reasonable to the person making them, but not reasonable to you. If you are lucky, you may get someone who buys a port to get a deal on some cards they want and may offer you more.

I buy ports and you only buy them for one reason and one reason only and that is to flip the cards and it usually takes years...They have to be bought cheap to make money on them....Most ports are filled with junk and Rookies and Jerseys and Coolz will buy those but expect low offers....better ports will get you a little more but not a whole lot

You get a flood of lowball offers .. I also got a few reasonable offers ... I think it depends on the quality of the port
