Blowoutcards.com Announces Sponsorship Agreement with WEC's Donald Cerrone and Leonard Garcia
Sterling, VA -- Virginia based trading card retailer Blowoutcards.com has announced that they will be sponsoring the WEC's Donald Cerrone and Leonard Garcia for their respective bouts this Saturday night which will be aired live on PPV and Spike TV on WEC's Aldo VS Faber.
President and Co-Owner of Blowoutcards.com, Thomas Fish, struck a deal with both Cerrone and Garcia's camp late last night. The deal includes logo placement on each of the fighter's trunks, assorted event/fight worn memorabilia from the fights, and autographed promotional items to be used to promote Blowoutcards.com.
Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone will be taking on current WEC lightweight champion Ben Henderson in a much anticipated rematch of the 2009 Fight of the Year. The opportunity to back one the WEC's most electric and exciting fighters was an opportunity that Thomas Fish was not willing to miss.
"The last fight between Cerrone and Henderson was an epic battle that people still talk about today. Cerrone's reckless-abandon and electric fighting-style ensures that each and every one of his fights will be exciting. I cannot think of a more perfect fighter to represent our company or a more perfect stage for us to be involved in than a fight for the WEC lightweight belt", said Fish.
Blowoutcards.com will also be sponsoring fan-favorite Leonard "Bad Boy" Garcia as he takes on Chan Sung Jung in one of two WEC preliminary fights that will be televised nationally on Spike TV prior to the evening's pay-per-view event.
"Leonard's stand-and-trade attitude is something that we really love about his game. Not everyone is willing to go in there and stand up and trade punches with guys. It's no wonder that this guy is loved and people look forward to seeing him fight. These sponsorships mark the fourth and fifth MMA sponsorship deals for Blowoutcards.com.
