Yea that double jordan is sick. Look at these cards though. Upper Deck had these amazing designs 7 years ago. I wish they were still making licensed NBA products, I bet they would have some exciting sets. Panini is ...well, they're Panini.

The manufactured patches were running strong at that time. Thankfully it's pretty much completely disappeared. I just hated the notion that because a card had a manufactured patch on it, that that itself was supposed to make the card a lot more valuable. Why not make cards that have manufactured patches representing a robe Jesus wore or a silver patch and call it plutonium. Or whatever. It all has zero meaning other than the design appeal, which is one thing, but that shouldn't add much to the price of the card. I'm just glad that period in cards is gone and will hopefully never return.

They are still in every product upper deck makes! Tons of manufactured letter patches!!

well i was talking about officially licensed products now ie panini. upper deck has to do what it can do to survive making its couple bball products, i really dont count u.d. anymore as having serious/consequential bball products. they have like 3 per year or whatever, with the same set of players in everything, its pretty much only a product to get a jordan or lebron auto & a couple others that are decent. thankfully the official products from panini have stopped having the manufactured patches in the past few years now. no reason to have things like that in an official product.

These cards are beautiful manufactured patches or not. I can't even imagine what the dual Jordan autograph sold for. Stunning.

Man, I saw this post and thought maybe they finally release this year's UD black. LOoking forward to those arena art booklets!

It will come out by the 19th, my LCS was finally charged by UD for the product, they believe it will be there on the 12th(Wednesday), however Blowout has it listed as the 19th. Either way, after having ordered a 3 box inner case back in January, I have stoked to it finally being released within the next 9 days.

I still have the card, I've kept it in my safe for the longest, occasionally take it local card shows to show it off. Will sell it when I'm ready to retire, maybe in another 10-15 years. It will go towards my retirement home. lol
