Brooks at Champs in Huntsville, AL said he had seen 11 boxes out of a case opened, and the best hit was a Sammy Watkins letterman auto. He pretty much insisted I get the 12th box. File this one under "never leave the last box". :)

Thanks Chris. Sorry we weren't able to work out a deal on the Manziel RCs. I'm sure you'll be able to get them a little cheaper soon enough anyway. :)

A new guy walked into the LCS while I was there today. Classic story ... hadn't opened a pack in 20 years, just now kinda getting interested again, etc. He talks to the owner for a while, and you can tell he's thinking about buying something but he's just not sure. After all ... the hobby has changed a lot in 20 years.

So the owner pulls down a fresh box of 2014 UD, opens it up. The guy grabs one pack, pays for the pack with cash. Opens the pack, pulls a Charles Sims 1994 auto. I felt really bad for the guy ... he has no idea what lies ahead for him. :)

Really not sure man. The Manziel ... $100 seems about right to me. An RG3 from 2012 sold for $55 shipped just a couple weeks ago. $100 may be low. I got two offers for $50 within like 10 minutes of listing it.

The Evans ... my gut says in the neighborhood of $50, maybe a little lower.

Damn, color me jealous! I just moved up to the Spring Hill/Franklin area in TN from Huntsville a couple of weeks ago. They don't have any LCS's in the area, and the one I've been to in Nashville has nothing on Champs when it comes to selection. I definitely miss my weekly trip there!
