2012 Spartacus Andy Whitfield auto...

Hi y'all,

been thinking about buying a case of the first series of cards that came out from Spartacus...

I know there are 15 packs in a case with 2 auto's in each pack.

Now my question was: Does enyone know if you buy such a case you are certain to hit the Andy Whitfield auto as Spartacus or not?

Been looking up for some info but didn't find anything good...

Every box break I've ever seen does have one complete set of autographs. 2011 Blood and Sand only. The next 2 series do not.

I was one of the few who ordered the first series. Yes, it's got to be 99.9% that you'll get a complete auto set, with some nice doubles, from the first series. Good luck finding sealed product. The Whitfield was falling at 1 per case. That's the key, though. Make sure you get a sealed original case if you find 1st series product. I haven't looked up if a sealed case has shown up for sale in some time. I sold a base set with the 2 insert sets for $165 well over a year ago. That product, I assume, is still nearly impossible to locate. Also, there are 2 versions of card #1. They accidentally duplicated the text and there was a corrected version issued via Rittenhouse if you sent in a SASE.

Good luck finding a box of this. I haven't seen one in a few years. There was a guy from Sand Bach selling a few packs last year at $99 a pack. Would be best to buy singles of the autographs, then waiting until someone sells the base and insert sets in a lot. Also make sure if you get the binder that the promo is included. In the past people were selling just the promo and it selling for $30+.

No, just a variant of card #1 in the base set.

I'm still upset Rittenhouse wasn't able to make an actual set for War of the Damned. The autographs they could've gotten though.

also disapointed to have not seen war of the damned autos. After all these great sets (and dollars spent...). Not really happy of the lineup of 2012 & 2013 sets. Understand they can come back with major characters ... but 2 autos of Tom Hobbs ?
