2014 Nationals and visiting teams IP adventures

hey guys i figured i would start a thread on my autograph adventures. i mainly graph in dc doing the Nationals and teams that visit. i might try and go up to Baltimore this year but i don't know yet. i will try to be good about posting when i get stuff signed but i am not the best at doing that haha.

so this was the first time i was able to get to Nats park this year. it was a friday game against the cardinals. I did pre game, the game, and post game. All in all it turned out to be a great day.


Pre game was quite bad to start. the day starting by the pitching coach Steve McCatty denying us. then Matt Williams came in and signed. a couple of the bench guys also denied us, Kevin Frandsen, Nate Mclouth. Tyler Clippard came in a new car and nobody recognized him till he got out and started walking, pretty funny that you can recognize a guy just from his walk next we got Scott Hairston, who has a really nice car, he has a Tesla.

then a couple other guys signed to but i di not have anything for them. i also got Adam Laroche

but the best part of a dismal pre game was this guy

he signed for everybody and gave pretty good sigs to everyone there, my friend even got a all-star jersey signed that came out sick.

that was the end of pre game now time for the the game.

inside mark Ellis Signed but i didn't need him on anything, i was after one guy in particular, Adam Wainwright. he signed about 5 total things before he cut it off, he stopped right before my friend and me. there are plenty of reason i should have gotten him but that is a totally different story own its own.



now post game i have heard that you can do very well post game so i figured heck why not give it a try.

i got Wilson Ramos and Danny Espinosa, they where both super chill. i also got Drew Storen. who was really nice.

the last three guys i got i cant never get pregame, but first i came so close to getting Harper a second time in one day but he cut it off with three people left. i am pretty sure he recognized me from earlier in the day that is probally why he cut it off but i still got him earlier so its alright.

the first guy never signs pre game and always signs inside, the problem is he signs in black sharpie. i had heard he always signs after the game so i was hoping he would and he did

the second guy signed everything when he got called up but has started not signing at all so i was super pumped to get him.

the last guy is one of the three guys that have eluded me ever since i started getting autographs last year. i had heard this guy is super nice and will sign anything for you but only signs post game.
