Penny Dreadful Tv, Justice League movie

The tv show penny dreadful is incredible if you were an old monster movie lover, Frank, Dorian, Dracula, and more I think all together in one show...1st Episode was awesome..

Sounds very good actually and I am not a big DC person. I think I might have to start reading batman again..Haven't touched em really since the late 70's..

Batman must-reads:

1. The Killing Joke (Alan Moore changed all the rules for comic books with this one; and there are a ton of great theories about the very last page...)
2. New 52 TPB #1 Court of Owls (Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo; doesn't get any better)
3. Hush (the DC crossover equivalent of Marvel's Infinity Gauntlet; I lied about the artwork of Capullo just above, Jim Lee's is better)
4. Batman vs. Spawn (I think there are a few storylines, and the artwork and writing are just a ton of fun where you can see that Spawn is really a supernatural Batman all along)
5. Batman vs. Predator (yes, this really did happen; look for them on eBay)

Personally I think that The Long Halloween was over-rated in both writing and artwork, and I haven't read the original Black and White. Also haven't read Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, but I grew bored with the animated when I watched it. Death of the Family was pretty good but uneventful overall, Death In the Family I haven't read.

Hope my meaningless opinions count. Have fun (also, Batman Eternal is being raved about, but I haven't gotten into it just yet).
